More Awards *blushes*

So the ever fantastic Falen gave me a really cool looking award:

Isn't it pretty?

I feel very stylish now. The rules of this award is to tell you five unusual things about me. This is going to be difficult, because most things about me are unusual. So I have to think of things I haven't said yet, and that I'm not planning on saying in the near future.

Okay, I'm making stuff up because I am currently thinking about a girl named Scotch and how she's going to handle Obadiah grabbing her from behind and dragging her away from the school parking lot....

1) I don't know how unusual this is, but I'm writing a story based off of a private joke. I know I mentioned this before, I'm just so excited about it. I did an outline thing for the first time ever (practically) because ... Okay, I don't remember who, but someone (I think Palindrome/Hannah or Falen) said to try one so I did, and I'm already almost half-way through with the first draft. Woo-hoo!

Doesn't this story look amazing??

2) I talk about death and dying on a regular basis, and I kill people almost every day. Okay, not REAL people, people in my books. It's just fun to say that to people because they freak out and their eyes bug out like twenty feet.

Knives... Mwahahahaha... >:)

3) I like to say things just to see how people react. Is that usual?

4) I miss being able to vacuum with my one friend. :( We used to race and see who could finish first. I don't think many people miss vacuuming.

So Exciting! (Definitely a 4 on the E.o.M)

5) Uh... I only drink hot chocolate with crushed up candy canes melting inside.

You may hate it, but I LOVE it, Sonshine

There you have it. *bows* Many thanks to Falen who rocks my socks off.

This blog award will be handed on to:

Dangerous With a Pen, because she is hilarious and stylin'
Palindrome a.k.a Hannah, because of her dancing muse man, which makes me laugh every time
SonshineMusic, because without her I'd be dumped in a loony bin somewhere

I love the first draft of your story...it's riveting. I'm all, who's going to be next dave or john...oh, another dave...oh, wait a john...I'm on the edge of my see trying to figure out who's coming next! (translated from sarcastafont)

I don't talk about killing people but I do talk about weapons. I adore weapons. And I'm not even a violent person, I just imagine very violent things and watch a ton of violent movies, and write violent stories and sometimes I direct violent things towards people but still I'm not a violent person.

I too like to say things just to see how people react. That or I randomly do an Irish jig in front of people, flick them off and walk away.

I like my hot chocolate with Caramel Cask & Cream. It's like Bailey's but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better and with CARAMEL!!!

I will work on unusual facts about myself this weekend. Thanks for paying it forward.

I soooo want to read that story! LOL! Congrats on your award. :)

@Palindrome/Hannah: ahahahaha... And yes, it's funny that my stories are so violent, because usually I'm not in real life.

Mmm... Caramel...

@Suzette: Haha... Thanks :)

@Elana: :D Yes, awards are fun. Oh, and you should see the second chapter. That's where Joe arrives ;)

i actually really like vacuuming. But now we have wood floors so whatcha gonna do?
I, too, am a fan of violence.
Also i'm glad to hear that the outline is working well for you

@Falen: It was you! Sorry, I should have gone back and checked and not been a lazy bum.

@Palindrome/Hannah: I had to go out and buy caramel today. I had such a hankering for it once you mentioned it.

AchingHope said...

@Falen: Oh, and I'll have to keep in mind that you like violence so that I can win your contest ;)

I love caramel so much more than chocolate. That's a great idea. I'm gonna get me some right now.

I don't think many people miss vacuuming.
I don't miss vacuuming because it is still a part of my life, so nothing to miss. Would I miss it if I stopped completely? Maybe. I wouldn't miss getting down on my knees and using the attachments to hit the corners of the floor of the bathroom to get the stray cat litter, that's for sure (as opposed to the stray-cat litter — we do have a stray cat who comes around, but she has no litterbox).
I miss mowing the lawn, though, which lots of folks seem to think is weird. My mother's house has a great big lawn that I mowed when I lived there after college. Great and purposeful exercise in the outdoors. After I moved away they hired a service; when I came back to the area and volunteered for the job I was met with strange looks. Now it would probably kill me but I have hopes of being able to do it again one day.

@Blam: Random cats wandering about? Egh. Well, at least someone likes to mow. I do everything I can to get out of. Last year I didn't have to mow once, and it felt like a huge achievement.

But I hope you have a chance to mow again. That would be sweet muffins. :D
